At this meeting we will talk about the exciting things coming up
in the Children's Ministry, share teaching tips & ideas, fellowship
with others involved in the Children's Ministry while enjoying light
refreshments, as well as get to know some new faces & those
stepping up to be part of a Ministry that will change their lives!

Children Ministry Meeting
BRINGING THE CHURCH FAMILY TOGETHER.
Nehemiah 4:6
So built we the wall; and all the wall; and all the wall was joined together
unto the half thereof: for the people had a mind to work.
The Children ministry meeting was a complete success with plenty of heartwarming fellowship and "snacks.
Thanks to Mrs. Regina Lear and Family for all the time spent in preparing."
Pastor John updated us on upcoming events, activities
and that the Children's Ministry is working on a Praise & Worship Band.
He also would like to put together a welcome bag to hand out to new members who have
children. To tell them about the children ministry and possibly a small toy or coloring book for the children.
He opened the room to discussion of ideas to bring more fellowship time for the children ministry and
also the parents.
Here are a few of the ideas that where brought up.
Talent show.
Campout for the boys/ slumber party for the girls.
Snow tubing or sledding.
Getting involved in more community activities like God Bless America & the parade float for the
Everett Christmas parade.
Linking the Children with the Seniors.
Movie night.
Party mixer with board games
Family Night.

CHILDREN MINISTRY NEWS
STARTING IN THE MONTH OF OCTOBER 2008, WE HAVE MANY EXCITING
THINGS TAKING PLACE IN CHILDREN'S MINISTRY HERE AT OUR CHURCH!
SISTER REGINA LEAR IS GOING TO BE TAKING OVER AS OUR
(KIDZ PRAISE) CHILDREN'S CHURCH DIRECTOR ON SUNDAY MORNINGS.
SISTER MISSY DENEEN IS GOING TO BE TAKING OVER AS DIRECTOR
OF OUR PRESCHOOL CHILDREN'S CHURCH (RAINBOWS 4 CHRIST). MISSY WILL BE
ASSISTED BY A NEW FACE TO OUR CHILDREN'S STAFF, MEG HAHN!
ALSO NEW TO OUR CHILDREN'S STAFF BE DONNIE LEAR AND JESS TAYLOR
WHO WILL BE ASSISTING IN KIDZ PRAISE WITH SISTER REGINA.
WE ALSO HAVE CHRIS WOY & STACY ICKES WHO WILL BE GETTING INVOLVED AS
HELPERS BACK IN PRESCHOOL CHILDREN'S CHURCH.
PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO THANK EACH OF THESE INDIVIDUALS WHO HAVE VOLUNTEERED
TO SERVE AS WELL AS THOSE ALREADY SERVING ON OUR CHILDREN'S MINISTRY STAFF.
I KNOW THEY ARE GOING TO BE USED MIGHTILY IN MINISTERING
TO THE CHILDREN OF OUR CHURCH & COMMUNITY!
TO GOD BE THE GLORY FOR THE THINGS HE IS DOING IN OUR LOCAL CHURCH!!!
