Dear Church Family,
We don't even know where to begin, It seems like since we started coming to
this church we have had a lot of trials. The first trial came only months
after we came in 'o3 when we lost our daughter Hannah, and you were there
helping us through. Then in '05 our endeavor with Audreawna's birth and
health began and of course, you were there. Then a year later in '06 we were
in an awful automobile accident after church on Father's Day and of course
you were there. We thought we had made it through the worst things but on
Dec. 11th the greatest trial hit us and that was the loosing of our "Home".
Of course, we all as Christians know the story of Job and how God saw Him
through all of his trials. Not that we are Job but sometimes we feel a
little of what he was put through. We are fortunate that through our trials
you all were there for us. Not one of you hasn't come through for us and we
are so very grateful for each and every one of you. We appreciate the gifts
and gift certificates and all the monetary you have continued to give us.
But the best gift you gave us was your prayers. We couldn't have kept our
feet under us if it wasn't for your prayers and God's love. It is very
difficult to not have a home or a place to feel safe. But thanks to your
love and support you have continued to help us remember that our "Safe
harbor" is in God and not worldly things. Just like Job we have to continue
to remember that God doesn't give us more than we can handle and if we
doubt that we can always count on "our church family" to help us regain
sight from that.
So, in closing we would just like to say thank you from the bottom of our
hearts. We are such a blessed family to belong to a loving family that when
one of us hurt we all hurt. Thank you for loving us enough to feel our pain!
